Faith on Oprah
Faith the Dog was back on Oprah for her Farewell Season favorites ,
See a replay of this clip on the Oprah show on 10/4/2010 when Oprah called Faith her "all-time favorite" animal guest, and urges people to adopt shelter animals facing euthanization.
This is a truly amazing story and it's great to see it's getting the attention it deserves. I run a dog-sitting business and face a lot of stress on a daily basis because of poor dog obedience from my clients and thir pets. Stories like this are heartwarming and make me happy. Sometimes I forget how amazing dogs really are because I am blinded by my daily work.
Anyways, I really enjoyed the video!
i so love your dog, what a gift from god to have such a fantastic dog, it made me cry, just because i was so happy that this little dog was given a chance, you are such loveley people, take care, jo (Scotland)
I just love this dog & you & your family should be so proud for raising & loving such a special dog. She always makes me smile.
Sometimes I think that I have it bad, but I am so selfish. Faith's story brought me to tears, and me stronger and less selfish. Loving animal. Dogs are humans best friend. Her story was so harm-warming. Love you Faith! Your Sis in Christ!
I just found out the news of Faith today! (09/26/20), quite late! I immidately put Faith offical web site in my facebook. I love to share to everyone that miracle happens everyday around us. What we need is a loving heart with little faith --- in God and ourselfves! Faith does not limit herself as a handicap animal or lay in sorrow with self-pityness. Look at her happy smily face! It's easy to tell she enjoy her life and willingly to share her happiness and faith to everybody! Keep going dear little Faith! May the Lord bless you with a healthy long liife and a blessing soul to touch many many human souls! Love you!
Faith is Love!!!
Brave dog, its really incredible.... i am proud of you... keep it up...
Its really incredible....
By the way, I heard that it is going to get a new role in Harry Porter's next movie...if yes, then it really deserves it... m gonna watch that movie only for faith n just for faith....
By looking at the dog, I really have the faith on myself now to do anything and to achieve anyting....
Hats off to the real courageous dog, "the FAITH."
I never post comments to anything - EVER. But I am compelled to write this: I just discovered Faith thru an email. (I never open junk email or chain eletters either, so this is another odd coincidence....).
Anyway, I want to thank you very much for taking in and loving that beautiful dog. She is so lucky to have found people who care and are selfless enough to do what she so desperately needed. I am so very touched by your kindness and caring for this animal. But I'm guessing you are the kind of people who consider yourselves the lucky ones to have found Faith and to have her in your life. As an owner of a dog rescured from a homeless shelter (also half chow). I often look at my Rocky and wonder what would have happened if my daughter and I did not take her home that day 2 years ago. And our family often wonders how we ever lived without him! He is a wonderful companion who is kind, talented, very funny, playful and cute with a personality all his own. Obviously Faith is all those things too. Best of luck to you and thanks again for your kindness and the example you have set for us all!
I can`t believe Faith is on her own two hind legs. She is just a very brave dog and it is just amazing how you can teach her how to do that. I would love to get pictures as she gets older and see her in person. I will also fall in love as soon as I see her. I hope she rests as much as possible.
I don't know about this being a miracle but that is a very impressive dog. Great job training her and I think it's wonderful that you kept her instead of putting her down!
In your mind, what constitutes a miracle? How many dogs walk on two back legs in the world? Faith truly is a gift from God as are many of our animals that demonstrate unconditional love, don't keep score (people do that!) and give inspiration to those who need to see hope in difficult situations.
The ability to have FAITH is truly a miracle of the human spirit. Hopefully, you will begin seeing the little miracles that surround us every day.
Wow! I found out about Faith about a year ago - her story...it's so inspirational! I want to meet her one day and give that doggie a huggle! ^w^
wow! faith is llike a dog i never seen before I wish her the best cuz she's a vere special dog to meeh and i wish to met her some day
dereonta thomas ,love faith,
WOW! This is one of the many examples of why love is the most pwerful force in the universe!
When I first heard that there was a dog who walked like a human, my first thoughts were, "Why would someone do that to an animal? Why wouldn't they let nature take it's course? (& more than anything else,) How freaking weird must that look !" Now, after seeing this video, hearing her story, and seeing Faith do her thing, I want to cry...the good kind of tears. This dog is seriously the personification of perseverence and miracles. I hope she lives a long and healthy life, and without owners like you, she wouldn't have stood any kind of chance.
God bless Faith and her family !
Orpah was so very very kind to Faith and our family. I can't say enough about her - - others have criticized me for promoting her because she and I don't have the exact views on politics, but you know what - - I love OPRAH...she matters to me. Thank you Oprah for you love.
