Faith and I had the best time going to the Super Bowl Village and finding friends among the 65,000+ fans who were in the village milling around, representing their favorite teams and cities. You wouldn't believe how many people petted Faith and rubbed her head while she was lazily draped over my shoulders. She interrupted a group of kids getting their photo taken with the big XLVI sign...she met a few celebrities and kissed a lot of faces. She even stole a sandwich from a kid who never saw it coming.  She's that way!  She was happy to see the Giants win of course, but only because Eli Manning is Peyton's brother and here in Indy it's all about the COLTS so Faith wore her little jacket and wagged her tail proudly for the BLUE.  WISH-TV (CBS) interviewed us about our new book and Faith was able to sniff out a few goodies in the green room!!  She loved every minute of the fun...and so did I.

Hey Everyone, Faith met one of the great TV stars of the 90's, Mr. Chris Burke. 

Do you remember Chris from his role as "Corky" on LIFE GOES ON?  It was a great family relationship show, one that Chris brought tears of laughter, joy, and reality to through his dynamic role as Corky, the big brother with Down Syndrome. 

Chris is very high functioning, and quite the character still. Today I asked him if he was going to be back in the limelight, and on television again - - his answer to me was that he was about to get on stage in a couple of minutes!  He even told me they made him fly in the CARGO department of the plane on the way over from New York City!  NO ... he loves to tease, and he's so funny. 

Faith took to Chris immediately. They hit it off and hung out back stage as we watched Chris during his segment and he watched us during ours. I'm hoping Chris and Faith can work together in the future as we go through this life and speak - - teaching and sharing our messages of hope and inspiration.

 Hey Everyone!  Faith and I are starting a brand new gig. I've been asked to be the new Account Executive (sales of advertising time) for the new Pet Pals TV show here in Indianapolis. YEA.  The job is one of those jobs you do because you love animals and want to be a part of a new and innovative television show that will have its own wings and take off in time.  Think about Animal Planet and how it got its footing.  Pet Pals TV is a local show to the Indianapolis area now, but we'll be sure and upload it online so the world can see it too.  Each episode will be full of informational, educational, fun facts and great stories about pets and animals that make a difference in our lives.  Faith and I were interviewed last week for the show by Host Patty Spitler. 

The show will air Saturday October 23, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. EST on Indianapolis station WNDY-23. I know Patty won't waste anytime uploading it so the rest of you can see it too. I'll have a link on this site, and my Facebook site too.
