St. Anthony Hospital - OKC
WOW - Faith and I went to Oklahoma City yesterday specifically to meet with about 100 kids who either live at the St. Anthony Hospital and/or have their treatments there for various emotional needs. These kids were popping with excitement and fun! They were so happy to see Faith and their questions were endless - - like most kids, they were surprised to see that Faith can actually run, jump, skip, hop, and play. She was very vocal for them and she definitely stole the show right out from under my feet. I was standing on the little stage talking and she started barking at me as if she wanted me to be sure and tell the kids everything!
During the visit we also went over to the adult unit and met with several men and women who were just as happy to see Faith. One of the nurses was particularly happy and began crying the instant she saw Faith. She keeps a picture of Faith for inspiration! I can't tell you how much that touches my heart - - it just warms me up inside. Faith got to hug and kiss on a bunch of people yesterday including staff members, patients, passers-by, and news media. She was the hit of the ball as she always is, and a really cool fact is that Faith walked right up to the statue of St. Francis of Asissi on the east side of the Behavioral Medicine unit and sat right next to him! She knew he loved her. She knew he was watching over her. You just can't fool a dog! They say children and dogs know the spirit of a man - - well, these kids were laughing and happy to see me, I feel pretty good about our visit. I hope to do more. Faith could I know!

That is such a cool story and I'm happy that you got the photograph too.
