"Faith Walks"

Seattle author Rudy Yuly and I have come up with the actual title of the definitive book we're writing together about Faith. It will be titled "Faith Walks". We've given the proposal to our agent Ken Atchity and are now just waiting to hear from the publishers.

The book will be out around this time next year, so look for updates every quarter or so to let you know who picked it up, and what to expect. We know that it will be about 190-220 pages. We know it will be told in Faith's point of view. We know it will be heartwarming, fun, crazy at times, and friendly so that everyone in the world can read it and enjoy it. Faith loves everyone unconditionally - and the book will reflect that type of acceptance, and what we as humans can learn from her regarding the way we tolerate and accept others around us. If there's one thing I've personally learned from Faith it is to let the world know you love them - - one smile at a time.

Faith's in her office under the bed now going over the proposal as it is - - of course making changes, but the facts will remain steadfast in the words of Rudy and I as we try our best to relate her stories to you soon. Thanks for your love and support. Oh, and of course there will be PICTURES!! Anthony Tortoriello will be our official book photographer! Of course!

"Sweetheart Deal" Faith the Dog will visit schools within 150 miles for $750

I've decided to drive Faith to see kids at schools for the reduced rate of $750.00

if their school is within a 3 hour driving radius of Ardmore, OK (up to 150 miles or so) until the end of March, 2010 * many dates taken already please call for confirmation of dates - booking must be paid in advance to secure the date.

Faith the Dog Visits Petco for National Adopt-an-Animal Day

PETCO THINK ADOPTION FIRST PETCO logo Faith and I took Reuben with us to PETCO #1491 in Ft. Worth, TX this past Saturday to help celebrate National Adopt-an-Animal Day as well as to help the great C.A.R.E. team find homes for their dogs and cats too.

C.A.R.E. brought about ten animals to PETCO and placed two I believe, a dog and a cat.

Faith the Dog at Ft. Worth PETCO Faith the Dog with Reuben Stringfellow and unidentified woman Reuben was certainly the most popular guy there. Those who follow Faith's story were absolutely thrilled to see Reuben in person! One woman stated she thought she'd never be able to contain her joy for having met Faith, but also seeing her original rescuer in person. She was so proud of Reuben and his military service. Her son served in the Army for 11 years.

Faith the Dog gets love at PETCO Faith the Dog at PETCO I'd say we saw just over a hundred people at the store. Many donations were made both to help the rescue efforts in Haiti as well as a couple of animal shelters that really need our help.

Everyone at PETCO was just so wonderful - - Faith, Reuben, and I thank PETCO and C.A.R.E. for inviting us to come out and hang around for the afternoon.
