"Faith Walks"

Seattle author Rudy Yuly and I have come up with the actual title of the definitive book we're writing together about Faith. It will be titled "Faith Walks". We've given the proposal to our agent Ken Atchity and are now just waiting to hear from the publishers.

The book will be out around this time next year, so look for updates every quarter or so to let you know who picked it up, and what to expect. We know that it will be about 190-220 pages. We know it will be told in Faith's point of view. We know it will be heartwarming, fun, crazy at times, and friendly so that everyone in the world can read it and enjoy it.  Faith loves everyone unconditionally - and the book will reflect that type of acceptance, and what we as humans can learn from her regarding the way we tolerate and accept others around us.  If there's one thing I've personally learned from Faith it is to let the world know you love them - - one smile at a time.

Faith's in her office under the bed now going over the proposal as it is - - of course making changes, but the facts will remain steadfast in the words of Rudy and I as we try our best to relate her stories to you soon.  Thanks for your love and support.  Oh, and of course there will be PICTURES!!  Anthony Tortoriello will be our official book photographer!  Of course!

Faith on our local KXII TV station in Ardmore, OK

Maureen Kane from KXII TV in Ardmore
posted this "local news" video clip about Faith

ARDMORE, OK -- Around Christmas we hear a lot about faith. But one local dog is giving that word a whole new meaning with her message of hope. Tuesday, as she celebrates her seventh birthday, the Ardmore family's pet shows us that overcoming obstacles is possible, if you just have faith.

First Person: Faith the Dog Inspires With Two Legs in Citrus Daily

Citrus DailyCitrus Daily published a YouTube video by the Associated Press
about Faith's birthday visit to McChord AFB

Spend some time with Faith the Dog, who walks using the only two legs she has.

Faith's owners say their animal offers inspiration for all, including military families who may have loved ones injured by conflict.

THANK YOU Sue Manning of the Associated Press!!

:santa:Thank you Sue Manning and Manuel Valdez of the Associated Press for interviewing me, and for coming out to Seattle (Manuel) to video Faith in her element.  We are truly blessed to be a part of the news coverage this holiday season  (The story breaks December 16 worldwide) - -  calling Faith's work a miracle and being so kind as to let the world know she is working hard to see as many soldiers as she can means a great deal to us.  Faith's new book "FAITH WALKS" will be out around this time next year  - - currently it is being marketed by our agent Ken Atchity of Atchity Entertainment International to many of the larger publishers such as Random House, Harper CollinsPenguin, Touchstone and Simon Schuster - - to be honest with you it hasn't been picked up just yet, but we feel that the love shown to Faith through the hundreds of newspapers and television stations who have already picked up the AP story - - that a publisher will soon welcome the book into their 2010 fold and you the reader will be treated to a unique and interesting book written in Faith's own quirky perspective.  You have to know she sees things from her own point of view at times.  Seattle based author Rudy Yuly and I are doing our best to capture Faith's stories as she relates them to us -- we're sure to find a few "dogged" details to be tongue-waggingly surprising - - it's just the way this dog is.

WITH GLAD HEARTS and songs of praise - - THANK YOU Associated Press for your love and genuine support of all Faith is trying to do for the world -- her message is just too important not to be told world wide.  For more information on what Faith is doing RIGHT NOW please go to www.boardthefaithtrain.com and see for yourself how much fun this little dog really can be!! Let's Say Thanks to U.S. troops stationed overseas

The mission of Let's Say Thanks is to provide a way for individuals across the country to recognize U.S. troops stationed overseas. By submitting a message through this site you have the opportunity to send a free personalized postcard greeting to deployed servicemen and women.

The postcards, depicting patriotic scenes and hometown images, were selected from a pool of entries from children across the country.

All you have to do is click on your favorite design and either select the message that best expresses your sentiment or draft a personal note. The postcards are then printed on the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press and mailed in care packages by military support organization Give2TheTroops®.

Xerox is committed to helping people across the nation express their gratitude to our troops overseas. The launch of this program is aimed at reminding them how much Americans appreciate their service.

Happy Birthday Faith! Soldier Style!

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY to Faith the Dog! Faith's REAL birthday is unknown but we gave her the date of December 22 to celebrate. We know she was born within a few days of that date and she is truly a "Christmas Miracle." This year Faith hopes to be celebrating her birthday for several days beginning this Friday through Sunday in Seattle, WA where she will be with more than 5000 soldiers in and out of uniform at two bases: McChord Air Force Base and Ft. Lewis Army Base just outside of Seattle/Tacoma.  WOW -- lots of hugs, lots of kissing. Then Faith hopes to make it to Carswell Joint Reserve Base the following weekend!  Nothing like camo colored icing on a big fat cake to make everyone happy!  Thanks to Pat McGhee at Ft. Lewis for hosting us, and for all the personnel you send to us to pick us up, carry us around, put us up and love us constantly. This is the best part about our Armed Forces - - they love us!  Thank a soldier when you see one, and pray for them all.
